CFD offers two programs:

In-Home Support Services (IHSS) and

Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)

Participate in the four Core Services provided to all Independent Living Center consumers: Information & Referrals; Peer Counseling; Advocacy/ Self Advocacy and Independent Living Skills Training

OIB Services

These programs are partially funded by a Federal grant for Older individuals Who Are Blind (OIB)

 

The Center's OIB Specialists guide participants in creating an Independent Living Plan to meet their specific needs and goals for an Independent Life Style

Program Details

 

Food Pantry : Assisting Low income individuals with food packages by appointments. Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.

 

Home Modifications : A city funded program for Ramps.

 

Housing : Section 8 housing for disabled individuals / VASH : Veterans assisted supported housing.

 

Interpreting for the Deaf : Assistance for the hearing impaired

 

Nursing Home Transition : Assisting individuals to be able to live independently in the community.
